I started Kodaware Studio because I believe everyday consumer
products can be both useful and beautifully crafted.
As a product manager, I have helped launch multiple 0-to-1
products for small and medium businesses, used at scale across
hundreds of billions of dollars of internet GDP. That taught me a
simple lesson: great products do not just solve problems. They
simplify with elegance and create moments of delight.
In consumer software, I see many important problems being
addressed, but often without taste, care, or emotional resonance.
Kodaware is inspired by the Japanese idea of kodawari: a deeply
personal devotion to craft, excellence, and the small details most
people may never notice, but everyone can feel.
The idea is to build products around problems I personally
understand, where thoughtful design and careful execution can make
everyday life feel delightful. Right now, I am working on a
couple of ideas related to reliving precious moments of your life.
